Erik Terreri combines expertise in complex economic analysis with a deep understanding of trial communication.
As an economic consultant and expert with leading economic analysis firms, and as principal of his own consulting company, he has over 17 years of experience in developing expert reports and testimony for clients involved in antitrust, mergers, and intellectual property litigation; in preparing demonstratives and trial exhibits; and in testifying as an expert himself.
His trial work includes merger review in the hotel, casino, and entertainment industry, with presentations to the FTC; and he supported the Tyco Healthcare antitrust legal team in U.S. District Court in LA by coordinating trial exhibits based on daily feedback of shadow jurors.
At Caltech, he developed an advanced statistical model to measure and test voter behavior in U.S. Congressional campaigns (political voter analysis translates directly into litigation research, because voter dynamics and juror decision-making share many similarities).
His longstanding interest in politics has led him to sit on community boards and organizations in the SF Bay Area as well as to serve as a regional campaign coordinator for a presidential campaign. He is fluent in Spanish, proficient in Sign Language, and is a beginning student of Mandarin.
